Galeria Libro-Café
Created 35 years ago by Carmen and Eparquio, puppeteer and man of theater, this bar whose name means both 'book' and 'free' is installed in the open air at the foot of the wall of the old town, below the very trendy Café del Mar which he wants to be the opposite. The Galeria, as the regulars call it, has over the years become the meeting place for all the city's artists and intellectuals, but also for young people who come to remake the world. Film screenings, conferences or exhibitions are regularly organized there. Also known for its cocktails, you have to come and drink the best 'limonada' in town around 5 p.m. before going to see the sunset, and come back, as soon as night falls, to have a mojito , accompanied by a "pincho de carne" or an "arepa napolitana", the Caribbean version of the pizza of the same name.
